Group Fitness: Adults & Kids
We wholeheartedly believe that an active lifestyle is one of the greatest gifts you can share with your family, and so children are always welcome to any of our adult classes. Babysitting is offered onsite (at a small additional cost) for some of the classes, check schedule below for further details.
Immediate Postnatal Fitness: low-impact cardio, pelvic floor training, and strength training
BABY LET’S MOVE (from six weeks postpartum)
A safe, encouraging, and dynamic way to ease back into your pre-baby fitness routine while bonding with your baby! Course content designed to assist with: postural re-education; core activation and re-strengthening of deep abdominal muscles; shortening of abdominal wall separation (diastasis recti prevention); pelvic floor strengthening; strengthening of main muscle groups through resistance training; and improvement of circulatory and respiratory function and increased stamina through cardio.

Postnatal & Beyond: high-intensity cardio, strength training with equipment, and core training
BABY LET'S GET STRONG (from around 12-weeks postpartum)
‘Baby Let’s Get Strong’ is all about getting your strength back, while improving your cardio-respiratory fitness. Suitable from around 12-weeks postpartum, this exciting class consists of medium-high intensity boxing and kickboxing warm-up, resistance training using your own body weight as well as various equipment (Kettlebell, Weighted Bar, Medicine Ball, Hand Weights, Mini-Band, Resistance Band, and others) and Pilates inspired exercises to safely retrain the core muscles.

FOR MAMAS AND PAPAS:
This class is open to women and men, so perfect for couples looking to workout together while your little one(s) can be looked after by our onsite babysitter. The class is designed to help you improve your physical well-being and cardiovascular fitness in a challenging yet encouraging environment. It will include constantly varied and high-intensity functional movements (inspired by CrossFit), but these will be tailored to fit the needs of new parents restarting their fitness journey.

Trial lesson: 15CHF
5 lesson pass: 140CHF (valid for 7 weeks)
10 lesson pass: 250CHF (valid for 3 months)
Well Mama’s group classes are QualiCert accredited, so if you have supplementary insurance you may be reimbursed for attending our health-promoting classes (% varies according to your insurance plan and provider).
LOCATION: CrossFit Thalwil, Bönirainstrasse 12, 8800 Thalwil. There is some parking directly in front of the building, or the Coop Bau & Hobby is just a 2-min walk away. If you’re standing at the entrance of Bau & Hobby’s garage, look to your left and you’ll see a grey building with a large number 12 painted in orange – the gym is up the short ramp on the first floor.
BABY LET'S GET STRONG – OUTDOORS (from around 12-weeks postpartum)
A great way to tank some vitamin D, and to turn exercise into family time. Grab a blanket and some toys for the little ones, a mat for yourself, and get ready for a good time! The class consists of medium-high intensity cardio, resistance training, and power Pilates. Class open to all fitness levels.
